For some years, the Netherlands has been a
reliable partner for Latvia's economy, culture and education. On Tuesday, 21
May 2019, the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry partnered with European
Law firm members KLOTINI SERGIS from Riga and Holla Advocaten, from the
Netherlands, to organize a one day seminar about bi-lateral and economic
relations between the two countries.
Ivo Klotins from KLOTINI SERGIS, together with
colleagues Jaimy Vanenburg and Dirk de Jong from Holla Advocaten talked
about the distinctive features of Dutch law, contract terms and Dutch contract
law, the regulation of labour law, and the nuances of the Dutch business
environment and advised delegates on steps for successful co-operation.
This now the third in series of successful collaborative events. It follows "Doing Business in the Baltics" where, Holla, KLOTINI SERGIS, Concordia Attorneys at Law and Law firm Judickiene and Partners JUREX joined forces with the World Trade Centre Eindhoven to talk to Dutch companies, looking to conduct business in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia and the "Road to Belgium", where Holla and Van Landuyt & Partners delivered a joint presentation in Eindhoven to Dutch companies, interested in expanding their business in to Belgium.
