European Law Firm (ELF) was the first legal network to register in Brussels (in 1989) as a European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG). Today, ELF is a network of law firms providing legal services across and beyond the European Union.

ELF includes 25 commercially orientated law firms comprising of approximately 500 lawyers across Europe, who place a high priority on personal service and client contact.

The principal strength of the network is the close professional relationships between its members. Over the years, ELF members have worked regularly with each other and built up long standing relationships. Representatives of member firms meet 3 times a year to exchange ideas and develop friendships and understanding. A lawyer exchange programme runs to promote greater insight into different legal systems and develop language skills between members.

Through its members, ELF offers;
